Participation requirements and notification

Participation requirements apply to ABAWDs receiving federal or state funded benefits.

Households with Work Registrants and/or ABAWDs must be informed of participation requirements both orally during the screening process and in writing using the Combined Work Registration Notice (CWRN) at application, recertification and when a client reported change results in a change in work registration or ABAWD status. Note : The scripts must be saved in the household’s Electronic Case Record as the DSHS 16-259 to verify this step has been completed.
