Describe how the State agency is coordinating its SNAP E&T program with any other Federal or State employment program (e.g. HUD, child support, re-entry, refugee services). Currently, ICAN does not directly coordinate with other federal or state employment programs. However, Economic Services Division (ESD) actively leverages its partnerships with workforce programs across Vermont that administer or collaborate with these federal and state initiatives. Strategic Partnerships: Screening for Employment Programs: ICAN participants who engage with these providers are screened, as appropriate, for all available employment programs offered by the provider. This ensures that participants have access to a wide range of opportunities that align with their needs and goals. Building Connections: ESD utilizes its relationship with the Workforce Development Board (WDB) to foster connections between various programs throughout the state. This strategic approach enhances collaboration and resource sharing, ultimately benefiting participants. Through these efforts, ESD and ICAN aim to maximize the impact of workforce programs and provide comprehensive support to Vermonters seeking employment and training opportunities. 1/29/26, 10:27 AM State Plan VT FY26 - Original Submission https://dam-fns.usda.gov/sites/default/files/microsite/snapet-vtfy26stateplan//index.html 16/159
