If a QHP offers benefits in addition to the essential health benefits a QHP must provide, the portion of the premium for the plan properly allocable to the additional benefits is excluded from the monthly premiums under § 60.04(a) or (b). Premiums are allocated to additional benefits before determining the ABP. (b) Method of allocation.
