2300.5.1.2 Advance Notice

Advance notice means the household receives an ESD 220 at least ten days plus two days for mailing (12 days) before the decrease in benefits or case closure. This is the adverse action period.

Use advance notice for all decreases except when the decrease is the result of information reported on the ESD 202IR.
