2100.4.2.5 Actively Seeking

Actively seeking means a Federal, State, or local law enforcement agency: states an intent to enforce an outstanding felony warrant, or arrest a person for a probation or parole violation within 20-days of the date the law enforcement agency requested information about the person; presents a felony arrest warrant ; or states an intent to enforce an outstanding felony warrant, or arrest a person for probation or parole violation within 30-days of the date of a status information request from DCF.

A person is not a fleeing felon or a probation or parole violator if the law enforcement agency does not intend to enforce the felony warrant or to arrest the person for a probation or parole violation within 30-days of the status information request from DCF.
