Continue to act on changes for 3SVT not related to the other program’s penalty.

Example 1 : The household reports and verifies they now pay dependent care for their 1-year-old child. Add the dependent care and budget as a deduction. Continue to budget the other program’s penalty amount.

Example 2 : The household’s earned income decreases and the Reach Up benefit increases because of the decrease in earned income. Budget the: new amount of earned income, new amount of Reach Up benefits, and the penalty.
