2100.2.2.2 Prorating Expenses

Prorate the following expenses paid by or billed to the ineligible member. Allow only the eligible household members’ portion of: Court ordered child support . Dependent care Shelter

Exception : Allow the full SUA if paid by or billed to the ineligible member.

Prorate as follows: Determine the ineligible member’s monthly allowable expenses. See Deductions and Determining Income and Deductions . Total the number of eligible and ineligible household members. Divide the earned/unearned amount in 1 by the number of people in Multiply the amount in 3 by the number of eligible household members.

Note : If the ineligible member is correctly coded on ACCESS, ACCESS will do the proration.
