1600.2.6 AmeriCorps VISTA Payments

Exclude payments and allowances from AmeriCorps VISTA (formerly known as VISTA) if the person was receiving one of the following benefits when they joined AmeriCorps VISTA: SNAP , TANF , SSI , or State SSI Supplementary Income

Count as earned income if a person begins receiving SNAP benefits after joining AmeriCorps VISTA.

AmeriCorps Vista join date is the start date of the actual contract and not the date of the offer letter.

Note : When joined and application date are the same, consider the customer as receiving benefits.
