1600.2.102 Veteran’s Benefits

Count as unearned income payments made by the Department of Veterans Affairs to veterans or dependents of veterans. This includes: The Monthly Housing Allowance provided to veteran students for housing costs under the Post-9/11 GI Bill, Chapter 31 Disability payments based on exposure to Agent Orange, Pension, Disability compensation, Aid and Attendance Pension , and Household Allowance .
