An applicant household’s disqualification period begins the month of application.
An active household’s’ disqualification period begins the month following the month timely notice expires, unless the household requested: a Fair Hearing, and continued benefits pending the hearing decision.
Use the following steps to determine the disqualification period: Add the value of the countable transferred resources to the value of the household’s other countable resources. Subtract the appropriate resource limit for the household from the amount in step 1. Compare the result to the table below to determine the period the household is disqualified from receiving 3SVT benefits. Notify the household of their disqualification, and how long the disqualification will last. Disqualification Period Table.
