1500.5.39 Property to Maintain Excluded Vehicles

Property needed to maintain an excluded vehicle. Exclude only the piece of the land used for storage or repair of the vehicle. The vehicle must be used for one of the following reasons: Produce income more than 50 percent of the time it is used. Produce income consistent with its Fair Market Value, even if only used on a seasonal basis. For long distance travel (not daily commuting) needed for the employment of a household member or another person whose resources are available to the household. Used as the household’s home. Transport a physically Disabled household member. Carry the primary source of fuel for heating for the household. Carry the primary source of water for the household.
