1300.5.1 Work Requirement Verification

At application and recertification verification is required prior to coding a person as meeting the time limited benefits work requirement.

Allow the household 10 days to provide the required verification.

If the required verification is not returned within 10 days: Consider the person to be time limited and not meeting their work requirement. Change the time limited benefits work requirements code to a countable month . Do not deny or close benefits solely for failure to verify an exemption, work program hours, or workfare participation. Deny for non-cooperation if verification requested is for earned income and hours.
