The Oral explanation of the work requirements is provided to households that include individuals subject to the general and time limited benefits work requirements.

Provide to the household at: Application Interview; Recertification Interview; When a member loses an exemption; and When a new member is added and is subject to work requirements. Note : Provide the oral explanation at the time the change is reported verbally. For changes reported in writing or discovered by ESD, one collateral call to the household is required and must be documented in CATN.

Oral explanation must : Identify which members are subject to which work requirements. Include the following general work requirements information: How to meet; What happens if someone does not meet; How to be exempt; and What is considered good cause. Include the following time limited benefits work requirements information as appropriate: What the time limited benefits work requirements are; How to meet; What happens if someone does not meet; How to be exempt; and What is considered good cause.
