100.5.3 Disqualifications

People are disqualified from acting as an AR for up to one year when the agency determines the AR: Lied about the household’s situation Knowingly provided false information about the household Used the benefits improperly

Exception : ARs for group living for the disabled or addiction treatment centers are not disqualified.

Notify the household and the AR with advance notice when the AR is disqualified. Include in the notice: name and telephone number to contact for questions, fair hearing rights , the reason for the action, and the action that will be taken.
