1000.1 Overview

All household members applying for 3SVT must provide their SSN . A household member with more than one SSN must provide all of them. If a household member does not have an SSN, they must apply for one before approval.

Providing the SSN is voluntary, however, failure to provide or apply for an SSN without good cause will result in ineligibility for that person.

Note : The 3SVT application cannot be delayed pending the verification of an SSN by SSA. The person is allowed to participate pending verification.
