I. Policy:

The State WIC Office shall be responsible for the production, approval and dissemination of any nutrition education materials that address, promote, or discuss pertinent nutrition and / or health related issues associated with the WIC Program.

II. Procedures:

A. State WIC Office shall:

1. Develop nutrition education materials to include any information whether written, audio or video, addressing nutrition and health-related issues, and

2. Provide the most current information available to the local agencies

B. Local agency shall submit a concept or developed materials to their designated Nutrition Liaison at the State WIC Office.

C. The State WIC Office shall notify the local agency upon approval of the material(s).
