I. Policy:

The local agency is responsible for voiding food benefits when benefits have been issued in error, a modification in a food prescription is required, vendor refusal occurs, a participant becomes ineligible to receive benefits, or other event occurs requiring that food benefits be replaced. Only authorized WIC personnel can load, void and change food benefits.

II. Procedure(s):

A. All eWIC Benefits shall be voided by WIC personnel with the appropriate system access role to perform this function and shall be further verified as being voided through verification using the food instrument list screen in Crossroads.
