I. Policy:

Local agencies shall assist participants with moving within the state without loss of benefits.

II. Procedure:

A. Any local agency may process transfers from any other local agency within the state. The receiving local agency shall initiate the transfer in Crossroads, and there is no requirement to notify the losing local agency.

B. In-State transfers are initiated when the participant/payee arrives at the receiving local agency for services.

1) The participant/payee shall be physically present before a transfer is initiated and completed.
