I. Policy:

It is the policy of the Division of Community Nutrition that migrant and homeless applicants / participants who are not adjunctively financially eligible shall be offered the opportunity to self-declare income at each certification visit. Financial eligibility for migrant farm workers may be determined every 12 months.

II. Procedure(s):

A. If the migrant / homeless applicant/participant chooses to self-declare income, the Affidavit Form, WIC-383 shall be completed.

B. If income is not self-declared, the applicant / participant shall have financial eligibility determined in accordance with 7 CFR § 246.7 (2)(v)(C).
