I. Policy:

Breastfeeding supplies are available to aid breastfeeding participants.

II. Procedure(s):

A. The Breastfeeding Coordinator / designee will:

1) Ensure that each local agency maintains a supply of manual breast pumps, electric breast pumps and attachment kits, breast pads and other appropriate materials as determined by the state WIC office.

2) Ensure that all multi-user breast pumps are properly cleaned and sanitized before distribution per BF-04.3 B.(9).
