C. Monthly Income Determinations Medicaid and FAMIS income eligibility is determined using current monthly income. Sources and amounts of income that are verified electronically and are reasonably compatible do not require additional verification. When income cannot be verified electronically or the information reported is not reasonably compatible (see M0420.100 for the definition), the individual must be asked to provide current verification of the household income so a point-in-time income eligibility determination can be made.
