A household eligible for the Homeless Prevention Program - Emergency Assistance (EA) will only receive services for a thirty consecutive day period during a year. A year is defined as 365 days following the initial date the assistance was issued (not application date).

More than one payment can be issued to a household in the 30 day period if the household is eligible and the total amount of the payments do not exceed the amounts allowed in the 12 month period.
