Policy Effective: May 1, 2025

There are different time limits for Refugee Cash Assistance based upon a customer’s date of Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) eligibility.

For customers whose ORR eligibility is on or after May 5, 2025, the time limit is 4 months.

For customers whose ORR eligibility is on or after October 1, 2021 AND on or prior to May 4, 2025, the time limit is 12 months.
