Policy Effective: April 1, 2004

For Family Employment Program (FEP) , institutional status is not a factor in determining eligibility. To be eligible for FEP a parent or specified relative must be exercising responsibility for the care and control of a dependent child. Determine eligibility for residents of an institution using the same eligibility criteria as regular FEP households.
