Additional Financial Considerations
Disqualified household members are not included to establish the household size; however, the full amount of their income and assets count in determining the assistance amount for the other eligible household members. Disqualified household members who are adult parents on a Family Employment Program (FEP) or FEP Two-Parent (FEP-TP) case must meet all eligibility and employment counseling requirements, including compliance with the Substance Abuse Determination Process. See Workforce Development Division (WDD) policy 3110 .
Disqualified household members are:
Persons disqualified for an intentional program violation as described in policy 825-5 .
Fleeing felons and probation or parole violators as described in policy 266 .
Specified Relative Fleeing Felons are considered non-household members. See policy 253 .
Children age 16-18 who are not a parent and are not participating with an Employment Counselor. See policy 321-1B .
Children who fail the school attendance requirement. See policy 221-5 .
