Policy Effective: April 1, 2004

For Employment Support Child Care, study time hours, cannot be approved except in the following 2 conditions:

The parent has classes scheduled in such a way that it does not make sense to pick up the child between classes.

An away-from-home study hall or lab may be required as part of the class course. A parent who takes courses with this requirement must verify study hall or lab class attendance. Do not approve more study hall hours or lab hours in this setting than hours for which the parent is enrolled.
