RTCA is issued as follows:

Months one and two are full grants based on household size.

Month three is one half the grant based on household size.

All income is disregarded from the grant for the 3 RTCA months.

Customers are eligible for up to 3 months of RTCA at any time during their RCA eligibility time period. . The three months of RTCA do not have to be consecutive.

If the hours of employment fall below the required average of 30 hours per week, the RTCA will be closed.

RTCA months are countable towards the RTCA time limit.

Customers arriving prior to May 5, 2025 are eligible for a maximum of 12 months of RCA.

If RCA closes due to income in month 9 or earlier, the customer is eligible for up to 3 months of RTCA.

If RCA closes due to income in month 10, the customer is eligible for up to 2 months of RTCA.

If RCA closes due to income in month 11, the customer is eligible for up to one month of RTCA.

If RCA closes due to income in month 12, the customer is not eligible for RTCA.

Customers arriving on or after May 5, 2025 are eligible for a maximum of 4 months of RCA:

i. If RCA closes due to income in month 1, the customer is eligible for up to 3 months of RTCA

ii. If RCA closes due to income in month 2, the customer is eligible for up to 2 months RTCA.

iii. If RCA closes due to income in month 3, the customer is eligible for 1 month of RTCA

iv. If RCA closes at the end of month 4, the customer is not eligible for RTCA.
