Who is eligible for RTCA?

Customers included in the RCA household who verify the earned income of the parent(s) in the home exceeds unearned income in the month following RCA closure may be considered for RTCA.

RCA customers whose RCA cases close because of income and who have earned income greater than their unearned income and the hours of employment for each able-bodied parent averages 30 hours per week. Self-employed customers: The income must be based on profits (gross income minus business expenses).

Customers' cases must be closed for earned income and income verified. Customers must sign a TCA Agreement by the 15th of the month following RCA closure to be eligible for RTCA.

Only one month of RCA prior to RCA closure is required to receive RTCA.
