Program Specific Requirements

Reinstate or continue SNAP or Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) financial assistance pending a hearing contesting a Department decision to reduce or terminate benefits if the customer’s request for a hearing is received no later than ten days after the reduction or termination became effective.

Child Care benefits will not be reinstated or continued regardless of when the appeal is filed.

Financial assistance payments under Family Employment Program (FEP), Family Employment Program - Two Parent (FEP-TP) or General Assistance (GA) will not be reinstated or continued regardless of when the appeal is filed.

Financial assistance under the RCA program will not extend for longer than the eight-month time limit for that program under any circumstances.
