Previous Policy

This waiver is for children under age 21 or who qualify for waiver services by the month in which they turn 21 and rely on medical devices for life support. Individuals who qualify for the waiver by the month they turn 21 remain age eligible for TDW after age 21. People on this waiver must meet a disabled, blind, child or family Medicaid category.

DCFHS determines the need for the level of care for this waiver.
