Changes in SSI Status

If SSI payments stop and: The member is still an SSI recipient continue to determine eligibility as if the member were still receiving a payment. The member is no longer an SSI recipient, but is still blind or disabled ( 303-6 ), determine eligibility for protected Medicaid groups, 100% poverty group or spenddown AM, BM or DM. Have the MRB do a disability redetermination in 12 months if the member is not receiving Social Security Disability benefits. The member is no longer disabled, determine if the member is eligible for another Medicaid program.
