Previous Policy
Individuals can be removed from UPP without changing the certification period.
When a change makes a member ineligible for UPP or the member becomes eligible for Medicaid, remove the ineligible member from the case.
If there are no other members that remain eligible, close the case.
Determine if the individual is eligible for any other medical assistance program.
The agency must provide 10 day notice unless the change meets an exception to 10-day advance notice. (See Section 811 )
