It compares Social Security Numbers (SSNs) of CHIP enrollees with SSNs of people who are listed in income records Department of Workforce Services, Social Security Administration (SSA) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This match system is also called the Income Eligibility Verification System or IEVS.
