Electronic Verification

Workers must use an electronic verification system to verify the non-citizen status of individuals who are not U.S. Citizens, with the exception of American Indians born in Canada.

Do not delay an eligibility decision, decrease, terminate, or deny benefits on the basis of a person's non-citizen status if the electronic verification procedures have not yet been completed.
