The case was closed for failure to complete the review. The enrollee must complete the review process and provide all requested verifications by the last day of the review month. If the case closes at the end of the review month, re-determine eligibility if the individual submits the review within 3 months of case closure. Do not require the enrollee to complete a new application. See section 704 . If the agency can complete the eligibility determination and send 10-day advance notice of an adverse change, the effective date is the following month. If the agency cannot complete the eligibility determination and provide 10 day advance notice of an adverse change before the end of the month, continue benefits to the following month. (See Section 803 .)
The case was closed because a parent was activated to military duty so the children became eligible for military insurance coverage. If there are still months left on the original certification period, do not require a new application. If the certification period has expired, the individual must complete an application and provide verification of their current circumstances.
An enrollee became eligible for Medicaid because they were removed from the home and placed in foster care. When the child is returned to the home, if there are still months left on the original certification period, do not require a new application. If the certification period has expired, the individual must complete an application and provide verification of their current circumstances.
