(2) Special Households This section explains application procedures for specific households. Some of the following examples differ from general procedures. These households are considered special because their income or other circumstances are substantially different from typical SNAP households. (3) Household Member excluded from SNAP a. Excluded or disqualified household members, although not allowed to participate in SNAP, their income and resources are considered when determining the household benefit.
