15.3 Internal Control Audits Benefits specialist daily processing is reviewed at random by the Economic Assistance Supervisor and results are recorded. Based on these reviews, a personal error rate may be determined for each EABS. Any errors are addressed immediately with the EABS and corrected. These internal control reviews also allow tracking of any trends in errors so that additional training needs can be identified for benefits specialists.
