the current ACA coverage gap. Presumptive Eligibility Comment Summary: Six commentors requested the state remove the waiver of presumptive eligibility. Another commentor requested confirmation that the waiver of presumptive eligibility would not impact other eligibility groups. State Response: SCDHHS confirms that this waiver would not impact the current operations of presumptive eligibility for individuals in other eligibility categories and would apply only to the individuals who are found eligible for this waiver. Some called for removal of the requirement to report on work activities, another suggested that the state allow grace periods for reporting and reduction in the consequences for non-compliance, another commentor suggested that the state provide a clear and detailed list of the required documentation. State Response: SCDHHS thanks individuals for their comments and notes that many of these operational decisions will be developed in consultation with CMS as the waiver application is under review. SCDHHS will document program operational components in the required protocol documents for CMS review post-approval.
