108.731 Time-Out

Individuals may receive up to 12 months of Time-Out based on domestic violence. The 12 months need not be sequential. See CAH 137.6 Time-Out .

An individual qualifies for Time-Out if they have a past or current good cause waiver for work, support cooperation or other TANF program requirements based on domestic violence. An individual can receive Time-Out based on past, present and/or the risk of further domestic violence. During Time-Out an individual’s TANF day count stops.

If the individual does not have a past or current good cause waiver for work, support cooperation or other TANF program requirements based on domestic violence, Time-Out may be granted based upon past, present or further risk of domestic violence by completing the PA 1747 .
