Continue to complete the immigration document section in ONE because it generates a call to VLP for medical. If the VOR card is the only document received, select ‘Other Immigration document’ as the document type, also use the A# located on the document. Enter additional information from the document in the free text field. This will be enough information to call VLP service. For programs that do not utilize VLP for immigration verification, or there is not enough information to run VLP, SAVE may be able to verify immigration status using the VOR card. This may be enough to verify immigration status for certain programs, other than medical. It is not necessary to verify the document of the non-citizen if the document has already been previously verified.
