Co-payment may be waived upon approval of the CDHS Director or his designee in situations in which income anticipated to be received during the budget period must be used for payment of another bill which, if not paid promptly, would create another emergent situations. The co-payment requirement is waived in emergency situations that could lead to the removal of a child from the family’s home and in emergency situations involving the return of a child in substitute care to his family’s home. 3.
