Annually Bi-annually Other Explain how frequently the State plans to re-evaluate these exemptions from mandatory E&T. Districts must describe the extent to which they require NPA/SNAP work registrants to participate in SNAP E&T in their Biennial TA and SNAP Employment Plan. Based on local district circumstances including the availability of resources to serve this population, each district may opt to exempt NPA/SNAP work registrants from SNAP E&T participation. Districts reevaluate these exemptions prior to the beginning of each biennial employment plan cycle. Districts that wish to change the extent to which they mandate NPA/SNAP work registrants to participate in SNAP E&T after the approval of their Biennial Employment Plan by OTDA, must make a plan amendment to implement the change. As part of the formal amendment process, the district is required to publish the revised plan for a 30-day public comment period prior to its approval by OTDA. 1/29/26, 9:29 AM State Plan NY FY26 - Original Submission https://dam-fns.usda.gov/sites/default/files/microsite/snapet-nyfy26stateplan//index.html 18/312
