REFUGEE MEDICAL ASSISTANCE (RMA)

Certain family members of victims of a severe form of trafficking are also eligible for RMA benefits and services to the same extent as refugees. These individuals will have either a T-2, T-3, T-4 or T-5 visa, which is referred to as a Derivative T-Visa. Derivative T- Visas may be issued while the immigrant is in the U.S. or an individual may be issued a Derivative T-Visa upon entering the U.S. • Iraqi and Afghan Special Immigrant Visa Holders (SIV) category/code “SI” will be stamped in the foreign passport or appear on the I-551-Lawful Permanent Resident Card (“green card”).
