Prior to orientation the eligibility worker screens and refers the participant to E&T. Equus then schedules an orientation for the participants. An appointment notice is sent indicating the date and time of the appointment, how to attend the orientation, and the individual’s rights and responsibilities. Recently EQUUS introduced a new process of completing orientation during initial outreach contact. Therefore, a Notice of appointment will not be generated for the appointment. Equus conducts a comprehensive orientation to explain the purpose of the SNAP E&T program, participants’ rights and responsibilities, describe available services, and explain how SNAP E&T can help meet work
