While all children grow and develop at their own pace, some may need a bit of extra support. Developmental delays are common in young children, but early identification and intervention can greatly improve outcomes. The Family Infant Toddler (FIT) Program provides early intervention services to over 14,000 children from birth to age three who are at risk of, or experiencing, developmental delays. FIT supports both the child and their family in addressing these developmental needs. For more information, nmececd. org/family-infant-toddler-fit-program/.
