NJ - New Jersey Administrative Code > TITLE 10. HUMAN SERVICES > CHAPTER 90. WORK FIRST NEW JERSEY PROGRAM > SUBCHAPTER 20. THE FAMILY VIOLENCE OPTION INITIATIVE
§ 10:90-20.10 WFNJ TANF/GA individuals not requesting a WFNJ FVO Waiver
(a) Any applicant/recipient of any program administered by the CSSA/MWA who self- discloses past or present family violence concerns or risk of family violence and does not request a WFNJ FVO Waiver, or an employee of the CSSA/MWA who self-discloses family violence, shall be offered the opportunity to discuss the matter with the CSSA FVO representative or designated MWA worker. (b) Upon the request of the individual, the CSSA FVO representative or designated MWA worker shall make an informal referral to the victim service provider agency for specialized services which the person may access on his or her own if he or she chooses to do so. 1. An informal referral to the designated victim service provider agency does not involve or require the completion of the standardized WFNJ FVO Risk Assessment process since the informal referral is not tied to a WFNJ FVO Waiver of any WFNJ TANF/GA program requirements.
