10:87-8.9 Reduction or termination due to mass change

(a) When benefits are reduced or terminated due to a mass change, participation at the prior benefit level shall be reinstated only if the issue being contested is that NJ SNAP eligibility or benefits were improperly computed or Federal law or regulation is being misapplied or misinterpreted by the DFD or the CSSA. (b) When benefits are reduced, suspended, or cancelled due to a Federal order, participation at the prior benefit level, pending the fair hearing, shall be denied.
