10:15-2.5 Responsibilities of the DFD contracted centers

(a) The DFD contracted center shall give as much advance notice as possible to the CP&P CCL at the appropriate CP&P Area Office by telephone, facsimile or e-mail of an anticipated vacancy in a contracted space. If prior notification cannot be given, the CP&P CCL shall be notified within 24 hours after the agency becomes aware of an actual vacant contracted space. (b) If the CP&P Area Office indicates that it has no current need for the contracted space for a CPS Priority 1 child, as defined at N.J.A.C. 10:15-6.3(a)1, the DFD contracted center shall proceed to fill the vacancy with a Priority 2 or 3 child defined at N.J.A.C. 10:15-6.3.
