121.03 Failure to Appear for an Interview (AAM)

When the individual fails to appear for an interview without good cause by the 30 th day after the application for financial assistance was filed the application shall be denied.

When the individual contacts the office within 30 days of the original application filing date, BFA Form 807, Interview Appointment Notice , is provided to the individual with a new interview date and time.

Good cause exists if the reason for failure to appear was beyond the individual’s control. DHHS is solely responsible for determining good cause.
