An authorized representative (AR) may assist or represent an individual in any aspect of the eligibility or Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) process. See AAM 705 , Issuing Benefits, for additional information on AR ’ s and EBT.

The AR is a person or agency chosen by the individual who:

· Assumes all applicant and recipient functions; and

· Acts on behalf of the individual in all or some of the aspects of initial and continuing eligibility.
